The Museum of the Future in Dubai has revealed the latest version of Ameca, an advanced
humanoid robot now enhanced to interact with visitors in multiple languages, including Hindi and Chinese.
Since October 2022, Ameca, with its human-like face and robotic body, has welcomed guests on the museum’s ‘Tomorrow, Today’ floor. Over time, it has become one of the museum’s most popular innovations. Acting as an intelligent assistant, Ameca has impressed visitors with its remarkably human-like interactive abilities. The new upgrade, unveiled during Dubai AI Week, features more realistic facial expressions, natural responses, and precise movements.
Ameca now speaks over six languages fluently, including Arabic, English, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, and Russian, making it a truly multilingual assistant for visitors from around the world.
The robot is part of the museum’s collection of intelligent machines and cutting-edge technologies that aim to advance AI innovation and enhance the human experience.
Powered by the Tritium 3 system, Ameca incorporates advanced AI tools such as facial and voice recognition and real-time translation. It can also read facial expressions and emotions, allowing for more natural and intuitive interactions.
